Every year I knit a scarf for Marlene. Usually she chooses the color
but this year my friend Kathy suggested I knit her something in “50 Shades of
Grey.” Kathy has a gift for choosing themes and I was very impressed with the idea since Kathy, Marlene, and I, along with millions of others have read
The Grey series.
Marlene will be out visiting from Utah in a couple of weeks and I'll gift it to her then.
I'm sure there aren't 50 shades of Grey but who's going to count them.

I'm sure there are approximately 50 shades of grey in that scarf. It turned out beautifully! I hope Marlene loves it.
