It's finished!!!

The middle section is wrong. I found out at the end sections that because I was left-handed I had to undo it and do them differently than the pattern said………. the same was true for the middle but I didn’t realize that until I knew that I messed up at the end. I just wasn’t looking closely enough at it.

I love it and no one but another girasol knitter will know that I messed up.

I measured it and it’s just over 6.5 feet in diameter…………. it’s sooooooo perfect!!!!

Gorgeous!! When I teach needlework classes, I introduce my students to the "running gallop" concept. If you can't see the error when you're going by on a horse at a running gallop, don't take it out.

Your beautiful piece not only passes the running gallop test, it also passes the "still picture" test, which is ever so much harder. Congratulations!

You did a wonderful job, and who's to say that left-handed thing isn't a design element?
(that should be your story, if you're ever asked!)
(((hugs)))
