Why you ask?The rubber on our fridge handle started to rip. I looked on on the Sears parts department web site it would be over $200 to repair it. Well, not for one but we'd need two if I wanted them to match. The freezer one is fine but is starting to look worn.My hubby asked if I could knit a cover for it.So I did. Fridge Handle Cozy!!!
Oops! Didn't mean to delete! LOL! I was commenting that they didn't look purple enough to me? Is it my monitor??? Cause they should be purple me thinks....;O)

I love it... I might do that to our fridge, not out of necessity, but "just because" ! :)
What a great idea. Do they stretch or are they were tight? What a fun idea for knitting.
Awesome!! You are like me :) I'm the one who is always coming up with ideas to fix things to save money, but you are brillant :) Great save!
Now that's clever! And you still save $$ if you have to knit several replacements too.
